Celebrate Holiday Cheer with Our Traditional Coquito Recipe

Slide aside eggnog. Holidays renew treasured traditions we have come to know and love, however, sometimes it's nice to spice it up a little bit. If you've never celebrated the season's festivities with coquito, you're in for a treat. Coquito is a Spanish word translated to little coconut in English. It's a traditional coconut-based beverage, also referred to as Puerto Rican Eggnog. Imagine the sweet delight of blending the tropical coconut flavor with traditional eggnog fun, that's the creamy, chilled goodness of authentic Coquito. We're sharing a family-friendly, non-alcoholic Coquito recipe, however, adding a splash (or more) of rum to celebrate (drinking responsibly) with adults of legal drinking age. Whether near or far, sharing goodwill with family and friends fills the season with joy as you celebrate holiday cheer with our traditional coquito recipe.

Celebrate Holiday Cheer with Our Traditional Coquito Recipe

Ingredients

- 1 (13.5 oz.) Can GOYA® Coconut Milk
- 1 (15 oz.) Can GOYA® Cream of Coconut
- 2 (12 oz.) Cans GOYA® Evaporated Milk
- ½ Cup White Rum (optional)
- ½ Tsp. Ground Cinnamon, plus more for garnish, if desired
- Cinnamon Sticks (optional)

Preparation
 
1- Blend on high setting, evaporated milk, cream of coconut, coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, rum (optional), vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

2- Pour mixture into glass container, then cover Coquito to chill in refrigerator.

3- Carefully shake container well to mix before serving Coquito with optional ground cinnamon or cinnamon stick garnish. Enjoy!
