I'm curious to know, what is your lucky charm? Come on, be honest. Just because it's that time of the year when everyone is thinking of all of the shamrocks, pots o' gold, rainbows and "Kiss Me I'm Irish!" everything that surrounds St. Patrick's Day, here I am sharing The Lucky Charms Confessional. What exactly am I confessing? Well... Those charming little leprechauns that dance jigs amongst four-leaf clovers and lead the way to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow have yet to ever jig my way.
So much for my lucky socks, I truthfully have never believed in luck anyway. Achieving success in life can very rarely be attributed to luck. Finding ourselves in the right place at the right time may have created an ideal circumstance for success, but don't sell yourself short! Dedication, commitment, passion, focus, discipline, motivation and determination are greater contributing factors than being lucky in life. So I must confess that I don't really have a good luck charm but I do have guardian angels. I miss my father and grandparents dearly, yet knowing that they are alive in spirit, guiding and protecting me is a blessing. I'll take that over luck any day! I also admit that I keep the wheat penny collection that belonged to my father as a comfort and connections to him, maybe they are lucky pennies. I'm sure there are more lucky charms being carried, stashed and stored than we care to admit. Nah, admit it! Share your lucky charm that you keep and believe to bring a bit o' good luck your way.
