Featured App Review: TurtleE Game

"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." I silently sing in my Dory from Finding Nemo voice. I'm singing in my brain to keep controlled focus as I find my Turtle-Racing groove while playing TurtleE, the new game from Key and Secret Studios. TurtleE, the lovably spunky, goggled turtle is in a class and a race all by himself, as he zips and zooms along, high and low to earn points by collecting all of the starfish he zooms past. Skilled technique, a quick eye and steady hand are all necessary to maneuver TurtleE swiftly to the finish line, at the same time our shelled racer is constantly avoiding schools of bad guy fish and deadly underwater bombs. Keep a look out for those life-saving E's and the red starfish, they help to keep TurtleE's life meter in the green. That's a good thing, unless tucked and shelled in the muddy swamp works for you.

There are 40 levels to complete and 4 different zones. The iTunes Game Center connection allows players to view rankings on the leaderboards, review game achievements and also send and receive challenges between friends to make and break high scores. Who's ready to take on my most awesome high score? Bring it. Game on!

TurtleE is the promising breakout app release coming from J & M, the two man Indie App Developer team from Key and Secret Studios. Kudos to the team and I anticipate great future projects from the minds of Key and Secret Studios. Check out iTunes to purchase TurtleE and for additional information.
