Meet the 'Soulphisticated Ladies' - Author Jaha Knight

I was not warned and I was not ready for the reveal.  I was simply not ready to become so immersed in a story and it's characters that I went through a melodramatic withdrawal once I finished reading the last words of the last sentence. The Soulphisticated Ladies series is a no holds barred page turner to say the least. Never was there a lacking of engagement, drama or hot, sexy encounters.  The intricate web of love, lies, suspense and scandals that unfolds develops at a constantly climaxing pace that just never loses its gusto. I wasn't ready to become so emotionally manipulated by the skilled writing talents of master storyteller, Jaha Knight, but now I know better.  Are you ready?

The Soulphisticated Ladies- Selah, Vashti, Moria and Gennifer each bring a unique set of circumstances and situations that readers can relate to on so many different levels. The soundtrack to accompany the novel series should undoubtedly include the song "I'm Every Woman", because I could empathize with each and every character at some point in the storyline, from their issues with family to relationships to career.  Descriptive narrative create such vivid imagery that I became so entwined in their lives that the fiction-reality thresholds were merely blurred lines.  Knight's literary style is so casual and conversational that each word gave her characters life and I found my reading groove with a quickness.  Attempting to offer a synopsis of the complexities of Soulphisticated Ladies without sharing the intricacies of the plot is not an easy task.  My instinct is to tell you everything that I know, suspense is not my strength.  The truth is that Soulphisticated Ladies Season 1 (Episodes 1-4) is a more than worthwhile read from a knowledgeable and insightful author.  I recommend keeping Knight as an author on your reading list and I am giving you advanced warning.  Are you ready?  Get ready and get reading.
