Announcing the Debut of Little Elliot Big City

Have you had the pleasure of meeting Little Elliot? He's the most delightful little elephant that you would ever want to meet. Well, that is if you ever happen to get the chance to meet. Author and Illustrator, Mike Curato has created a wonderfully illustrated character in the big debut of Little Elliot, the apartment dwelling elephant living in the big city. Life's adventures in the city are sometimes a big challenge for a little elephant, until a little surprise changes everything. 

While our family does not live in the city, there is an indescribable thrill my three year old experiences each time that we have the opportunity to visit New York City. As we read the story of Little Elliot Big City, the scenic illustrations of city life are drawn in such a simple, lively style that is both endearing and comical. My little cupcake loving toddler found a new friend in the kind, little polka-dotted elephant named Elliot. 

This beginner reader level book is an easy first story for new readers and has all the makings of becoming a cherished classic tale. Having enjoyed the introduction to Little Elliot Big City, we eagerly await new experiences and adventures to follow with the moving illustrations of Mike Curato in future stories.
