Bright lights, big city and Mad Science! We had the privilege to join Mad Science as they officially kicked off the launch of their new partnership with Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square in New York City. My word to the wise is to expect the unexpected. Get ready to be entertained and amazed with three exciting performances of the thrilling Mad Science chemistry show, Spin, Pop, BOOM!

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square Plus Mad Science Equals Twice the Thrills

Have you ever experienced the learning and laughter of Mad Science? It's science as you've never seen before. Those cleverly calculated and cool Mad Scientists were ready to go, donning their lab coats to perform some of their most spectacular science experiments right in the heart of the Ripley's Museum, right in the heart of New York City's Times Square. 

Mad Science Spin, Pop, BOOM! showtimes will be happening at 11:00am, 1:30pm and 4:00pm and will be free for ticketed guests visiting Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Times Square. Be on the scene for the debut of live action chemistry demonstrations at one of New York's most outrageous attractions for both native New Yorkers and tourists to visit 365 days of the year.

“Spin, Pop… Boom!” Are you ready for some fun science? Our Special Event, “Spin, Pop, Boom” is all about awesome experiments! You will witness amazing feats of chemistry as we explore all sorts of spectacular reactions. You will marvel at our demonstrations as we release genies from bottles and spew massive columns of foam with the use of our catalysts! So, get ready to be amazed while you learn, because at Mad Science, all education is entertaining!"

"This Halloween, come to Ripley’s to get your fill of candy, mystery and treats. Between 4pm and 8pm, there will be trivia questions set up at various exhibits throughout the museum. If the questions are answered correctly (or not), you get a treat! Costumes are highly encouraged! If you think you’ve got the best costume, take a picture in front of Bumble Bee (awesome Transformer at the front of the Museum). Tag your photo with the hashtag #RipleysNY. We will then choose the winner with the best costume! The winner will receive four free admission tickets to Ripley’s, so you can come back again!"
