Kmart Jingles Sleigh Bells on NYC #KmartCarts with Donations to St.Jude Patient Families

Kmart, ceremoniously demonstrated why they are heralded as the leading fundraising partner in the history of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Upholding the current lead in donations, having already raised more than $13 million for St. Jude this holiday season, Kmart hosts a holiday toy shopping spree with Marlo Thomas, St. Jude National Outreach Director, for the patients of St. Jude. 

Amidst the frigid temperatures and frenzy of New York City's mid-town shoppers, I was extended a warm invitation to join fellow Kmart’s K-Club bloggers, Marlo Thomas and Mary, an inspiring young St. Jude patient as we stacked and stocked #KmartCarts with the hottest toys of the season to be donated to families spending their holidays at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Personally, I find that during the holiday season I spend a little more time in reflection and in gratitude for life's ups and downs. Having seen families enduring the extremes of those ups and downs, Marlo's motivation is propelled by the compelling thought, "I don't want any parent to go home without their child." St. Jude Children's Research Children's Hospital is established upon "Thanks and Giving", here is a cause where it is truly an honor to give rather than receive.
