Teachers get ready to submit your applications to Learning A-Z, a PreK–6 educational resource company and part of Cambium Learning Group, Inc. Now is the time to apply for a Headsprout subscription grant to the launch of the newly created Headsprout Educator Grant Program.
The grant will provide K–5 educators with the opportunity to apply for a free one-year subscription for classroom use of
Headsprout, a dynamic reading program to implement or supplement literacy curriculums.
Headsprout teaches students to read through the use of engaging online instruction that responsively adapts to each child's unique learning strengths and weaknesses. Successful implementation of
Headsprout is facilitated with an informational training session created to ensure that educators are using the
Headsprout program to its fullest potential with students.
"
Learning A-Z is committed to helping every PreK–6 educator," said
Bob Holl, President and Co-founder of
Learning A-Z. "As school budgets across the country are being cut, we understand that teachers don't always have the means to purchase our products. Our new grant program was created as a way to help teachers improve their students' reading skills—regardless of their institution's financial means. We want every student to become a successful reader and successful student, and
Headsprout is an excellent tool with proven results and efficacy to help them reach that goal."
Teaching staff in schools nationwide are encouraged to visit
Learning A-Z for additional information as they stand committed to helping educators identify and secure funding opportunities. To learn more about the
