Would you really trust a person that is willing to work for five dollars? What could anyone possibly get for $5 that would be of value to me or anyone else for that matter? After years of questioning the functionality of the popular freelancer website, Fiverr, I finally decided to take a chance. I gambled away my precious $5 investment for the sake of curiosity. So, here's what a $5 bill did for me on Fiverr.

Why Invest in the Skills of a $5 Entrepreneur on Fiverr
"Fiverr® is the world's largest marketplace for services starting at $5. A service offered on Fiverr is called a Gig®. Gigs on Fiverr are offered for a fixed, base price of $5 (also referred to as one Fiverr). Whenever you see 'I will _for $5", it means the seller is offering a Gig for the fixed price of $5."
My reason for actually taking the time stemmed from the advice of Matt Cherry, Founder and CEO of iBlog Magazine. While attending a professional development conference, his words of wisdom were to implement more effective time management techniques by not doing those tasks that you find menial or lack the tool set to complete professionally and successfully. Honestly, I would have eventually figured out how to create my own whiteboard animation, however, I truthfully have enough pending projects on my to-do list. While I don't have time to spare, I did have a fiver to spend.
The process for signing up to research Fiverr gigs is pretty run-of-the-mill and, did I mention that it is FREE. Only registered users may participate in the buying and selling of gigs on Fiverr.
Taking a little time to become familiar with the culture, search the homepage, category or subcategory pages, possibly finding a Fiverr gig you are interested in purchasing or selling. All of the Fiverr gigs initially are priced at $5.00, some gigs contain additional services, which can be added on to a base purchase. A word of advice, remember to research any reviews from previous customers as there is the potential risk of taking a gamble involved. The success of the transaction is based primarily on written communication as opposed to verbal conversations.
Buyers pay Fiverr for any gig orders in advance of receiving services. For each of the $5 gigs that you sell and successfully deliver to your customer, Fiverr accredits your account with a a portion of the payment as your revenue. Fiverr accredits sellers individually as each order is completed. Visit Fiverr's Terms of Service for additional information regarding Buyer and Seller transactions.
I have to say that I am satisfied with my Fiverr experience. Initially, I felt, perhaps, the slightest bit fearful that the power of the almighty $5 bill would become diminished with the outsourcing of $5 labor. Surprisingly, I discovered that entrepreneurial life is overwhelmingly powerful as I created my own freelance account, continuing to outsource freely to my own personal business staff of $5 Fiverr entrepreneurs.
What services would you or did you invest in the skills of a $5 entrepreneur on Fiverr?
