Ask anyone that knows me very well, I am a strong advocate for summer reading, fall reading, winter and spring reading. Literacy is a guiding force in my life, and also the life of our family. It was a delightful pleasure for me to take a little time to away from my regular routine of  professional development, self-help and pre-school bestsellers, to join Maggie and her friends from the Shopkins Kids Club on a fun adventure.
My most recent chick-lit pick was Marsha Mellow Goes Missing: An Unofficial Story for Shopkins Collectors (The Unofficial Shopkins Collectors), written by author Kenley Shay. Being relatively new to the world of Shopkins, this brand-new, unofficial story is ideal for those tried-and-true Shopkins collectors. A very interesting story for about middle grade readers and adoring Shopkins fans, Marsha Mellow Goes Missing is a necessary addition to any middle grade reader's library. This series of unofficial sstories, published by Sky Pony Press is likely to rival the sucess of the unofficial novels for Minecrafters.

Their adventures together inspire life lessons about friendship and family, too.
