My father was a US Army Veteran. Growing up, our respect, appreciation and identification with military life was... just life. The good and the bad, we lived and loved as my father inspired us to do each day. Any military-material reminds me of those time and I am once again fascinated by tales of danger, determination and dog-tagged buddies. These two books, sharing the voices of Veterans are prime examples of the stories that keep the pages turning.

The epic journey of The Price They Paid Enduring Wounds of War written by author Michael Putzel shares the real life story of veterans that experienced war in Vietnam, just like my own dad. Prepare to gain a renewed respect for the men and women protecting the freedom of our country and the many faces of change these soldiers and their families encounter.
