As the warm and sunny days of Summer have given up their reign to the crisp, cool Autumn air, I asked my teen, tween and toddler, "What are some of your favorite things that we do in each season?" Well, here's what we brainstormed and came up with off the top of our heads. As time passes, I am sure the list could grow and transform as we do the same. Call us traditional, sentimental or perhaps just a little silly, but here it goes...

Then my teen offered, "Winter pajama days and my Thanksgiving turkey." To clarify, Thanksgiving turkey, I must say that I gladly delegate to her and her You Tube tutorials, "How to Cook a Turkey" searches, I personally have never cooked a turkey on my own. I'll put it on my Bucket List, maybe...

What are some of your favorite things that you do in each season?
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting from the GTKY bloghop. Nice to 'meet' you. :) This is a great post, which really showcases your love for your family, and family life. So many of these things are wonderful, no matter who you are, or where in the world you are. Here in the UK, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving...I sometimes wish we did. The world would be a brighter place if we just remembered to be grateful. :)
Take care,
Casey
Hi Casey,
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to "meet" you as well. I have met some of the nicest bloggers around on the GtKY blog hop! Sharing a post about my family was my way of introducing myself to the blogging community. Thannk you for your kind comments and I am glD THt you enjoyed reading my post. I often forget that Thanksgiving is an American holiday. My solution, circle a date on your calendar as you Thankful Day. In a perfect world, we would be thankful and grateful for each day.
Happy Blogging! : )
