What are you planning to do this summer? Summer is the time of the year when our days are filled with fun, family, friends, food, and hopefully about faith. As we plan for summer fun, it's important to remember to include our spiritual journey in our plans. There's nothing harmful about a little healthy dose of competition. Inspiring kids to use Summer vacation to brush up on their Bible knowledge, I'm excited to learn about an exciting educational opportunity to challenge kids to achieve high scores in faith and fun competition this Summer with National Bible Bee.

Challenge Kids to High Scores in Faith & Fun Competition This Summer

Challenging kids to do their best to memorize and study Scripture, then proclaim their mastery through local, national and broadcast competitions, National Bible Bee (NBB) strives to bring out the best in the best. Providing the enrichment of a Summer Study serving to build memorization skills, understanding and application of Scripture to every day life.

National Bible Bee is composed of two seasons, Summer Study and National Bible Bee Competition. Summer Study is created for either independent, church group or hosted group participation. Preparing participants an 8-week Summer Study Discovery Journal, Memory Passage Cards and curriculum resources guides Scripture study for NBB Competition.

Upon completion of the preparation and challenges of Summer Study, participants have the opportunity to demonstrate mastery on the Qualifying Test for the National Bible Bee Competition. Utilizing the Qualifying Test as a determination of national ranking, achieving scores within the top 120 of their age division and meeting all requirements, secures an invitation to become a contestant at the National Bible Bee Competition.

Anticipation builds as 360 participants compete for over $100,000 in prizes awarded based upon Bible knowledge and scripture memory passages. Continuing on from the National Bible Bee Competition, top placement earns participation in the National Bible Bee Game Show, hosted by Kirk Cameron. Bringing together 72 NBB Competition contestants to further demonstrate skills in Bible verse memory and understanding, competing for $270,000 in prizes.
