Making Learning Magical through Music and Movement Kids Enjoy

What memories do you have about your earliest days of learning? Thinking back, I'm a little fuzzy about my preschool days, not because my memories are beginning to fade away (lol), more specifically because this seems to have been a pretty unremarkable time of my life. That's definitely not to say that I was left missing out on the world around me, it was simply a nurturing, passive time for me to learn and grow accordingly. Each of my kids would definitely have clearly distinct childhood memories, my daughter attended preschool, where I worked as the Preschool Director, my older son had a homeschool/preschool hybrid experience, and my younger son was homeschooled until Kindergarten. With the common denominator being learning, each child excelled brilliantly. Music and movement remain among their most vivid educational memories. How much fun were those bouncy tunes composed for teaching and toe tapping? Meet the Sheira and Loli, the twin team making learning magical with music and movement kids enjoy.

Did your household manage to escape the whole Baby Shark musical phenomenon? Tell me your secret! I'm sure there are far too many of us still finding ourselves randomly bopping about to this joyful bit of teeny bopper ear candy. Based upon my personal experience in Early Childhood Education, relational music and movement matter significantly when it relates to fostering a foundation for education. How much valuable information has Baby Shark inspired in your world? Okay, not the best example for you, perhaps, however, I'm certain there are plenty of families now musically inspired to research sharks, without a doubt!

Educational songs are probably not first choice selections for many parents, but the merit in boosting memorization skills in our little learners is a key educational skill for kids to develop. Add in an age-appropriate learning concept with a paired repetitive movement to create ideal subject mastery and that's become a rhythmic teachable moment. Sheira and Loli's Dittydoodle Works teach children from this proven strategy to prepare kids for future educational success.

"Sheira & Loli's Dittydoodle Works" is a multiple award-winning and New York Emmy-nominated preschool series based on rag doll twins Sheira and Loli. These engaging and energetic twins take kids on a magical, musical journey through their factory that produces fun, Dittydoodle Works.

Sheira and Loli, along with their lovable and colorful friends: Professor Eeky Eeky Kronk, Miss Molly; the Funkins (Bluedles and Pink-a-Dink); Doodles The Crayon and Zippy the Kwirk, help teach children important life lessons. Topics such as values, conflict resolution and basic cognitive reasoning skills are communicated through a combination of upbeat, original music, witty humor and vibrant visualizations."

Here's the magic of Sheira and Loli's Dittydoodle Works, "It's like vitamins for a child's imagination." Sharing life lessons on a wide variety of topics, Dittydoodle Works' songs help kids better understand chores, the need for medicine, or appreciating diversity through different languages. When we find our kids struggling with applying the practices of essential skills, singing the words of a fun, little ditty gives kids (and adults) extra motivation to remain on task.

Sing and dance along to educational songs enjoyed by kids and parents from Sheira and Loli's Dittydoodle Works.
