Sweetening the deal, EVs such as the Toyota Prius Prime come equipped with enhanced safety features, innovative technology, and sleek styles are ruling the roadways with an EPA-estimated 25 miles of energy efficiency in EV Mode. Energy-efficient EVs are optioned to perform driving fueled with electricity, gas, or combining both sources.
Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) are powered by an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. These vehicles can be plugged into an electric power source to charge up the battery. Some of the vehicles are able to travel up to 100 miles solely powered on electricity, and are able to operate entirely on gasoline.
