Beyond any doubt, I'm empathetic by nature. In other words, I'm able to sincerely relate to the emotions others are experiencing, by being able to put myself into someone else's position. Being extremely sensitive to emotions of other people has advantages and disadvantages. For me to know that there's a person in need of support of any type, I must act. When you are okay, I feel okay. Not everyone has the same emotional connection to others, sometimes we need a reminder to check in with family and friends.
