What is your story? Every single person has been gifted with their own unique story which is only theirs to tell. Surprisingly, many of us diminish the inherent value in the worth of our personal stories. Failing to see the merit and beauty in sharing those most endearing reflections upon our lives, far too many stories are lost to the world. Bridging this gap in time is essential to the future, as I firmly believe that in order to know where you're going, you must know where you've come from, generationally speaking. There's power in knowing that your life, as you have lived, creates your personal story, with the passing of time to eventually stand as your legacy. Powerful, indeed! Considering the significance of your life, it's of great importance to become purposeful in writing your story. Resourceful and relevant, How to Live Forever, written by author Kimberly A. Best, RN, MA, establishes a constructive framework which dynamically celebrates you in the story of your life.

How to Live Forever Dynamically Celebrated in the Story of Your Life
Consulting with families as a professional mediator, Kimberly Best, RN, MA has experienced the moments where final decisions concerning legal and health care choices regarding the death of a loved one have the power to bring people together or cause separations. Here's where a professional mediator is valuable as an neutral perspective useful as an end of life planning resource. Utilizing the guidelines of her book, How to Live Forever: A Guide to Writing the Final Chapter of Your Story, we are empowered to write out the final chapter of our lives.
Taking control of the narrative, we are guided along the process of purposefully directing our legacy with "clarity, courage, and compassion." As a single parent, there is an urgency to not only know that my children are provided for later in life, I want to make my preferences known to avoid the possibility of leaving difficult decisions for them to figure out in the midst of emotional moments.
"Using illustrative, true stories, questions, and prompts, the book guides readers to not only leave behind the actual story of their lives but to make personal choices around legal and health care decisions as well as their end of life ceremony and relationships. “How to Live Forever” asserts that learning how to finish life well will help readers share the gift of their final wishes with their loved ones. Best’s book empowers readers to put the fear of death behind them and come to terms with the reality of death so they can celebrate life and walk through the end of life with clarity, courage, and compassion. Ultimately, Best seeks to bring people together during a time that typically can tear families apart as she discusses the benefits of mediation as a vital resource in navigating the difficult conversations around the last chapter of life."
