You Sure Must Meet the Shore Buddies

Just when I thought it was over. As I've done so many times before, I declared that it was over. No more new plush toys were to be purchased, gifted, or adopted by our family. Then we met the Shore Buddies. Who are the Shore Buddies? They're a cuddly collection of plush stuffed animals made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. Each Shore Buddy plush meets toy safety standards and features a realistic sound recorded by a professional marine biologist scientist for a truly authentic experience. A donation of 

$1.00 for the ocean is contributed with every purchase. Be still my eco-friendly heart! The Shore Buddies Mission is- "We strive to save marine life by educating our youth on the dangers of plastics for marine life and keeping plastics out of our oceans." You Sure Must Meet the Shore Buddies

Recycled bottles are collected, cleaned, and shredded into plastic flakes. These flakes are used for the Shore Buddies' stuffing and also melted into polyester yarn for the soft plush.

Would you believe it takes six recycled plastic bottles to make one 12" Shore Buddy? I'm excited to introduce you to all of the lovable Shore Buddies and a fantastic way to reduce, reuse, recycle.

Let's meet the line Shore Buddies friends featuring an array of huggable characters that will make authentic animal sounds with a little squeeze.

 

Sammy the Seal is FOR SHORE passionate about reducing Plastic Pollution in the Ocean. Seals can become entangled in all sorts of common trash items, like plastic bottles and plastic bags, causing them harmful consequences which can result in severe injuries and even death. Help Sammy to keep plastics out of Our Oceans.

Stephen Seagull FOR SHORE is concerned about the state of Our Oceans. He advocates for clean beaches and clean coastlines. 80% of all ocean pollution comes from land sources.

Shelly the Sea Turtle is TURTALLY concerned about the state of Our Oceans. She fights for clean and healthy oceans. Shelly is especially engaged in the fight against abandoned fishing nets which makes up for 10% of all marine debris. Help Shelly to keep plastics out of Our Oceans.

Finn the Dolphin is DOLPHINITELY concerned about the state of Our Oceans. His arch enemy is plastic straws. He worries about how they don't biodegrade and many of them end up in Our Oceans. Help Finn to keep plastics out of Our Oceans.

Emma the Whale is the calmest whale in the Ocean. Unless you bring up Ocean Plastic Pollution. Through her immense travels all around the world, Emma has seen a lot. She cannot believe how much trash actually is floating in the ocean and is affecting all marine life daily.
