What Goes Around Comes Around, Candace received her Masters in Digital Publishing from New York University and since has published hundreds of newspaper articles and has written several articles for Black Enterprise magazine. Devoting daily periods of time to not only writing her forthcoming novel, Lessons I've Learned from Loving You, (October 2021), a considerable amount of attention to networking and marketing her work. Aside from writing as a purist, putting pen to paper in a notebook, technology considerably simplifies the writing process with the ease of use of Microsoft Word and Google Drive.  

Do you find journaling to feel tedious or fail to see the benefit of keeping a journal? Consider a mindset adjustment by taking a few moments to meditate, focusing on mindfulness before beginning to write. Reflect on how you're feeling, your struggles, your successes, and your writing plans. Create a mindset of gratefulness, positivity, and kindness before you start writing. Waller has found success in developing a story outline and detailed character sketches to reduce the frustration of "writer's block".
