Have you ever been to sleepaway camp? How would your family enjoy spending time together at a family camp? While our family certainly has an overwhelming wealth of knowledge from a variety of sources (shoutout to Bear Gryllis), about basic and advanced survival skills, confined quarters will be the make-it-or-break-it test for our camping experience. However, I can honestly say that our love for adventure, passion for nature, and spirits filled with love(-ish) for one another, we'd be sure to experience a transformation to last a lifetime. Whether it’s your annual family tradition or a new venture, or you're simply intrigued about planning to test your family's survival instincts, your family will adore the laughter and lessons packed into this action-filled movie. There's no substitute for fresh air and fellowship, gear up for Family Camp FUN!

Quality time spent with my family is priceless. There is great truth to the often quoted saying, "the days are long, but the years are short." Where has time gone? My kids are growing up so fast that simple movie nights have become a precious commodity. I treasure every moment.

Recently we were given the opportunity to enjoy an advanced viewing of the new movie, Family Camp. Let's unpack here— pun intended. Family Camp is a faith-based family comedy from The Skit Guys, acclaimed for their inspiring video content for churches and youth groups, in addition to live event performances.

The Family Camp cast list includes The Skit Guys, Tommy Woodard and Eddie James, along with Leigh-Allyn Baker (“Good Luck Charlie”), Gigi Orsillo, Robert Amaya (“Courageous”), Cece Kelly, Mark Christopher Lawrence, also featuring social media sensation and comedian Heather Land.

Please don't cancel me- I've never had the opportunity to see The Skit Guys in action before watching Family Camp. The chuckles and truths shared made for a wholesome, heartfelt movie relevant for the whole family to enjoy. An added bonus is the fact that The Skit Guys really know how to win me over- with outtakes, bloopers, deleted scenes, and behind-the-scenes fun!

The Skit Guys are Tommy Woodard and Eddie James, who have been best friends since high school. They fell in love with acting through their involvement in the school’s theater productions and discovered they had a knack for making people laugh. When Tommy invited Eddie to church, everything changed. With encouragement and guidance from their youth pastor, the guys started to write and perform skits for their youth group. No longer was it just about making people laugh—their skits now had a bigger purpose. Since their high-school days, they’ve been writing and performing hilarious and poignant skits live and on camera. Tommy and Eddie have traveled the world performing at events, churches, and conferences. Their numerous short films, skits, and scripts are used in churches all over the world. When The Skit Guys aren’t performing or shooting new short films, both Tommy and Eddie serve in their local churches, enjoy good food (especially pizza and fries!), and love life with their families.
