How well do you know the legend of Zorro? I'll be the first to admit that I know very little of the story of Zorro. Well, if you didn't already know, Zorro, which translates to fox in Spanish, is a fictional character often recognized by his black clothing, cape, sombrero, and mask. Zorro is a masked protector of the people against treacherous evildoers and villains. My son and I recently had the opportunity to experience an epic encounter in Zorro The Chronicles, a family-friendly action-adventure Nintendo Switch video game offering something for every play style. Entering the world of Zorro, the game allows players to select from a variety of animated characters, each equipped with their own special abilities useful in helping Zorro's quest for justice. Zorro The Chronicles video game is adapted from Cyber Group Studios’ highly-acclaimed animated series of the same name, which is produced in collaboration with Zorro Productions, Inc. The award-nominated animated show features teenager, Don Diego, encountering the greatest challenges of his life, fighting for justice in the action-paced series, and now the game. Evil plots are no match against Zorro's quick thinking, epic action, and spectacular battles, while protecting innocent people.

As each mission begins, players have the option of choosing their starting location on the map, which determines the direction of game play. Set out to defeat the horrible villain Monasterio's soldiers, where Zorro is able to activate a variety of strategic techniques, including deceptive use of sounds, the mighty swish of your whip, and skillful mastery of the vast environment to your advantage. Earn experience points for performing combos while disarming enemies or marking them with a “Z” in family-friendly adventures.
