Home sweet home. Our home is beyond any reason of doubt my happy place. Honestly, if I don't actually state these words out loud on a daily basis, then the thought has definitely crossed my mind countless times each day. Following either a pleasant or a challenging time away from home, our family finds true joy in returning home to the comforts of our special place in the world. The two words going and home are both short and sweet, yet powerful with emotion at the same time. There is even greater power when we consider going home as our eternal homegoing. Do you experience the same range of emotions when thinking about death and dying? To be totally transparent, I definitely have feelings of fear and anxiety when I think about death, mostly I am afraid of the circumstances that will lead to death and leaving my children. We all must come to accept that life and death are a reality for each one of us at some time in the future. Helping to nurture complicated emotions, PureFlix unfolds love and light in Going Home, an impactful series sharing insight into the sentimental interactions of an inspiring hospice nursing team supporting both their patients and loved ones through the final transition stages of life.
