Protecting the Sound of Freedom

"Sound of Freedom, based on the incredible true story, shines a light on even the darkest of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death."

Based upon the incredible true story of Tim Ballard, (portrayed by Jim Caviezel) a former government agent, the movies details how he set off on a mission to rescue young children from dangerous child traffickers in Colombia. Meticulously coordinating a rescue mission to save the lives of children kidnapped by a Colombian drug cartel, Ballard must use all of his skills and resources to find the children and bring them to safety. Sound of Freedom raises awareness to the problematic issue of child trafficking. While opening up the conversation of trafficking is a difficult topic to discuss, together we have the power to fuel a movement that will save millions of children all around the world.

Angel Studio’s goal for Sound of Freedom is for two million people to go see the film in theaters the opening week of July 4 to remember the two million children who are trafficked every year.
