Sharing the astonishing true story of Corrie Ten Boom and her family, who bravely risked their own safety to hide and protect hundreds of Jewish refugees during World War II. Please be advised that this movie has not been officially rated by the Motion Picture Association and depicts a story centered on the difficult subject of the Holocaust. There is no nudity, graphic violence, or foul language in this dramatic portrayal of her family's realistic experience of the Holocaust. Here's a bit of a backstory of Cornelia "Corrie" Ten Boom, was born on April 15, 1892 and passed away on her birthday which is culturally considered to be a blessing on April 15, 1983. With her father and family, they managed to help many Jewish people escape the Nazi Holocaust during World War II. Sadly her family was punished leading to her imprisonment for these actions. In her book, The Hiding Place, describes her experiences.
Initially made into a movie in 1975, The Hiding Pace has now been adapted for a creative interpretation by talented filmmakers Tony and Laura Matula. Capturing the movie as a cinematic presentation of their stage adaptation, dramatic performances are featured with camera close ups as in traditional movies.
