8-10 Medium-sized Apples (washed, peeled, cored, chopped)
½ Cup Water
½ Cup Apple Cider or Lemon Juice
½ Tsp. Ground Cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
1- In medium pot combine apples, water, apple cider or lemon juice, and cinnamon to simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until apples soften.
2- Uncover, reduce heat, and gently simmer, stirring occasionally, until apples are completely softened and to prevent sticking.
3- Set to cool to room temp before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Preparation
- Heat oven to 325°F.
