Melodic and magical, The Prince of Egypt: The Musical is a live stage production adapted from the award-winning DreamWorks Animation animated movie which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2018. As a family favorite in our home, both the movie and the soundtrack are often enjoyed from time-to-time. Sharing the story of  Moses, adopted and raised in privilege as a prince of Egypt discovers his true identity before going forward to fulfill his destiny by releasing Hebrew slaves. Blending together familiar foundations from the movie with dramatic new staging, powerful messages of family, faith, freedom, and fulfillment of destiny are portrayed. The Prince of Egypt: The Musical features songs from the original movie (‘Deliver Us’, ‘All I Ever Wanted’, ‘Through Heaven’s Eyes’, ‘The Plagues’ and ‘When You Believe’) with an additional ten new songs. We were given the honor of viewing an advance screening for a centerstage experience of The Prince of Egypt: The Musical.

We were amazed by the stunning theatrical performances and breathtaking staging of this masterpiece. The efforts of more than 100 backstage team members, including stage managers, audio-visual crew, stage hands, costume and wig supervisors, assemble for this stellar production of The Prince of Egypt.
