What is the value of investing in Bitcoin? That's one of the foundational questions that many of us are curious to further explore before investing our hard-earned coins in cryptocurrency. We've had the honor of partnering with the visionaries behind God Bless Bitcoin, a financial documentary opening up to us the economic impact of Bitcoin on our society, finances, and personal investments. Our team was invited to a first look at God Bless Bitcoin and an exclusive Q-and-A session with Kelly and Brian Estes, producers of the documentary and financiers. Inviting us into the world of cryptocurrency, financial experts explain ways Bitcoin is challenging traditional financial systems we've relied upon for decades. We were prepared with many of the questions you were interested in having answered, and here’s an overview of our insightful first look and discussion of the controversial movie, God Bless Bitcoin.

First Look at Controversial God Bless Bitcoin Movie
"God Bless Bitcoin asks the timely question: How do we fix our broken money? Through in-depth conversations with bitcoin and interfaith religious leaders, the film exposes the broken, unjust, and immoral nature of our current fiat-based monetary system, one that is intimately connected to the military industrial complex and the propagation of war. The film also shows how and why members of the poor and middle class feel a financial squeeze even when they work hard and lead fiscally responsible lives. God Bless Bitcoin ultimately suggests the ways in which Bitcoin can present alternatives to our current system that are more just, equitable, and peaceful."
Controversial documentary, God Bless Bitcoin features informative and impactful testimonials of individuals and businesses that have opted in for Bitcoin. By providing perspective to demonstrate the global influence of Bitcoin in different parts of the world, we learn more about regulatory issues, security concerns, and environmental impact of Bitcoin mining.
In our exclusive interview with financial experts, Brian Estes, CIO of Off the Chain Capital and Instructor, and his wife Kelly, Founder and President of the Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow Foundation and teacher, we learned more about Bitcoin.
CLCS- Please describe for us the target consumer for Bitcoin investments.
Estes- The beauty of bitcoin is that there is no target consumer. It is open to everyone no matter their socio-economic status, their race, their gender, their religion. Bitcoin has no minimum investment requirement, so people can invest as much or as little as they would like. We have friends, for example, who invest $100 every pay period in bitcoin using their Venmo account.
CLCS- How exactly does the economy benefit from the Bitcoin market?
Estes- By way of background, the world spends $2T a year in fees paid to credit card companies, banks, and Fed wire to move our money around. If the world was on a bitcoin standard, these fees would drop 99%. This extra money could be put to more productive uses like education, healthcare, and raising children.
CLCS- Are there protections that banks provide that Bitcoin cannot offer, and vice versa?
Estes- Bank accounts are FDIC insured up to $250,000 whereas bitcoin does not have any insurance. However, bitcoin is a bearer instrument, which means whoever holds it owns it whereas when you deposit money at a bank, that is an unsecured loan to the bank. So if the bank fails and you have more than $250k, you are out that money.
CLCS- Explain the risks Bitcoin poses to society and potential solutions to counteract these threats.
Estes- Despite what the news has portrayed about bitcoin being used by criminals, being bad for the environment, and used to fund terrorism, bitcoin poses no threats to society. To correct the misinformation out there and help people feel more comfortable with bitcoin, we made a short film that dispels the fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) that surrounds it. “What the FUD” is available for free on our website- godblessbitcoin.com. This is just another educational tool to help make people comfortable with bitcoin.
CLCS- What is the truth about Bitcoin and its value to our economy that the average consumer should know?
Estes- Bitcoin preserves your purchasing power because the limited supply of 21 million stops the money printer from diluting your dollars.
In effect, God Bless Bitcoin aims to educate viewers about Bitcoin, its financial impact, and effect on society. Gaining a more insightful understanding of money and modern financial systems, controversy is likely to continue to follow as the future of Bitcoin challenges traditional banking practices.
