Iron sharpens iron. It's just not too often that this thought comes to mind when we are reminiscing about Christmas, however, when it comes to the Herdman's, that's very much a different story. In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, the Herdmans deserve their own story. Our family had never heard the story of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever until we attended a reading with the Sunday School children at our church. Experiencing the reading was a charming, watching the movie was absolutely heartwarming! Our family was given the opportunity to view an advanced screening of the Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company production of the movie, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Yes, iron sharpens iron, however, sometimes we learn, more importantly, that a little grace goes a long way in life. Based on the beloved classic children’s book by Barbara Robinson, this timeless tale has sold more than seven million copies since its publication in 1972. From a beloved book to a meaningful movie—it is The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!

Beloved Book to Movie It's The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
"Nobody is ready for the mayhem and surprises that ensue when six of the worst youngsters disrupt the town's yearly Christmas performance."
"The Herdman kids are absolutely the worst. They lie, they steal, they bully...and they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant. Directed by Dallas Jenkins (“The Chosen”) and based on the international bestseller by Barbara Robinson, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER follows six siblings who sneak into church searching for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant. Grace (Judy Greer) is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter Beth (Molly Belle Wright) and husband Bob (Pete Holmes) are less than amused. But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas. Featuring Lauren Graham. Screenplay by Ryan Swanson and Platte F. Clark & Darin McDaniel."
There’s no such thing as a Silent Night with the Herdmans around! Holiday fun awaits the whole family on November 8 when #BestChristmasPageantEver arrives in theaters!
