Ingredients

- 1 Cup Butter (softened)
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar (packed)
2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 3 Cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 Cups Chocolate chips (semi-sweet or your preference)

Instructions

- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

- Mix the butter, sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla, mixing until combined.

- Combine dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) in a separate bowl. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

- Stir in chocolate chips.

- Scoop dough into small balls placed 2 inches apart on a lined baking sheet.

- Bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. The centers may look slightly soft but will firm up as they cool.

- Cool on a wire rack, then enjoy!
