No Address Must Be Addressed

"We can be the solution. Let's work together to break the No Address cycle." -Lucas Jade Zumann | Jimmy, No Address

Similar to many of us, there are moments where I become lost in my discontentment and frustration with the highs and lows of my life. At times I may feel deserving of so much more than I currently have, or I may believe myself to be entitled to the blessings others may have received, or I may have an overwhelming sense of exasperation with my place in the world. Missing in these moments is often my gratitude for where I am in that moment because if it all went away, I'd be desperate to have it all back again. We were given the courtesy of viewing an advanced screening of the movie, No Address, inspired by true events. Opening up to raise awareness of the many challenges of homelessness, No Address stands to open minds and hearts. Maneuvering through life's difficulties reveals the horrible realities of homelessness as a group of individuals face unexpected circumstances to bond as a family. Enduring life on the street—vulnerable to violence, invisible to society, and limited by finances, the humanitarian issues of telling the untold story of Americans with No Address must be addressed.

Many thanks to Robert Craig Films for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are completely my own.

Introducing the lifechanging series of events which uprooted Lauren's existence, No Address is inspired by true events. Forced to live on the streets, random individuals unite as a collection of family members bonded together by circumstances rather than by blood connections. Each one in time reveals their own dramatic struggles as they share and support one another through trying times.

“Home is where the hope is.”

Often, I think of the popular saying, "there but for the grace of God go I." Homelessness could happen to any of us at anytime. Lauren and her new family come to discover that home is so much more than a place, home is the people who are there for you. Giving a voice to the issue, No Address features-

Lucas Jade Zumann
Beverly D’Angelo
